Lowering seat height

Hi Guys ,

Totally new to off road and bought myself a 300 Sef, Im really enjoying the bike but wanted to know is there anyway to lower the bike by about 2-3cm as I’m literally on the tips of my toes. When riding some steep rocky trails it’s easy to be caught off guard and because I can’t get my foot down soon enough the bikes already on it’s side by the time I’ve got a foot down. Any information appreciated sorry if it’s simple answer to the question but I haven’t any previous knowledge off road bikes only own a road bike.

Thank you

You can get a lower seat through your dealer or lower the suspension: any reputable suspension shop should be able to do it.

You can always take the seat cover off and shave off some foam from the seat itself. I literally did that on my 2021 Sherco 300 se f. It's an easy process to give you more confidence in putting your feet down. This way you don't have to worry about suspension or lowering links.
